Hollín takes a walk through the garden

Narcissus assoanus Muscari parviflorum
Hollín just kicked back in front of some wild Narcissus assoanus and Muscari parviflorum. These Mediterranean flowers smell amazing. Hollín totally loves chilling out near them and being amazed by the bees and other little critters buzzing around.
Heuchera micrantha
Check it out, Hollín is sleeping next to a super cool Heuchera micrantha! This nook is his favorite for relaxing because these flowers have a luxurious scent. Heucheras have vibrantly colored leaves and act like a magnet for hummingbirds and other critters.
Pachypodium rosulatum
Hollín has come across a Pachypodium rosulatum and couldn’t help but take a look at the little flower of this amazing plant from Madagascar. People call it the «elephant’s foot» because it has a bulky trunk that helps it withstand drought.
Calathea orbifolia
Hollín is showcasing a Calathea orbifolia. This plant is super curious; its round leaves have unique patterns, closing at night and opening at dawn. This gesture is called ‘plant prayer,’ adding a magical touch to its tropical beauty.
Pilea peperomioides
Hollín has found a Pilea peperomioides, the famous «money plant.» This beauty steals the show with its round leaves and elegant vibe. They say it brings luck and fortune, so it’s like having a minimalist treasure in the garden. A little green gem!
Meet Hollín
The black cat has returned home
This is Hollín (in English Soot). His story begins with this name; I named him so because I found him under a wood oven when he was just a week old. His mother rejected him, probably because she had many other kittens and he didn’t have the opportunity to feed. So, I decided to take care of him.
He grew up healthy and strong, and one day, he decided to go on an adventure… Nobody knows where he went, but he was gone for 3 years!
I became very sad. I went out searching for him for many days without luck, as he did not show up, and nobody in the village seemed to have seen him… I thought he was lost for good.
But one fine day, he showed up again in my garden! Hollín had come back home! We knew right away it was him. How could we forget this black cat?! The same little white hairs on his chest, the same eyes, the same friendly and good-natured character, plus he loves water! When we sprayed him with the hose (just to make sure it was him), he rolled around in the water stream. It was him!
We were all so happy at home! We could not believe it! I remember that day as one of the best of my life.
